The term ‘ScriptoSphere’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website.

The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Following are the terms and conditions that ScriptoSphere wants our customers to know before they agree to do business with us:

Accuracy:

  1. You accept that occasionally there will be unavoidable inaccuracies due to very poor audio quality, English spoken with thick foreign accents, obscure regional slang or dialect, unfamiliar proper names and nouns, and in extremely rare occasions, due to human negligence.
  2. We assure you that we take care of extensive research and due diligence on our end for difficult names, geographical locations, technical jargons and slang to maintain 99% accuracy.
  3. However, if the subject matter is obscure, brand new and contains never before heard jargons, technical terms and words, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy.
  4. Hence, it is the client’s job to provide us with the necessary data, glossary of terms etc. related to the audio or video files beforehand, in order to get a more complete and accurate transcript.

Compensation:

  1. Audio transcription is not an easy task, and involves long hours of concentration and hard work.
  2. To transcribe a one hour audio file, it can take anywhere between 8 to 10 hours. So, it’s only fair that we get compensated for it.
  3. Our policy is upfront payment for all orders, whether it’s human transcription, or automated speech to text transcription.
  4. Our payment vendor is 2Checkout.com based in Ohio, and the payment gateway is verified by Visa, MasterCard and McAfee.
  5. Both of us will receive payment confirmation receipts which can be used to request a refund in case of any issues.

Formatting:

  1. We deliver “clean verbatim” transcripts with no fillers or repetitive words, by default.
  2. If you require verbatim transcripts, please let us know beforehand and we will transcribe verbatim for you at no extra cost.
